Etienne and Beverly Wenger-Trayner have written a new book, Systems Convening: A crucial
form of leadership for the 21st century. In this session we provide a brief overview of the
book and explore whether teachers are systems conveners, and if not, how they might
become one. Systems conveners undertake seven areas of work, and we will investigate
their connections to teaching. We will also discuss the mindset that system conveners have
and approaches that they use.
